The New Lighter, Leaner Me

I’ve been working hard since Christmas trying to reduce my waistline.  I’ve held my calorie intake down to 1800/day, eating less calories at meals, eating more often (6x a day) and eating healthier meals.  

I’ve also increased my aerobic activity. I’m walking several miles a day.  With rising gas prices, it is easier to walk to the store for example and reduce my consumption of gas. My family attends the gym together and we have a blast!  

So far…..I’ve lost 25 lbs and reduced my BMI index by 4 points.  It has been a slow, steady decrease.  1lb here and 2lbs there.  

I’m using two apps on my droid:  #CardioTrainer and #MyFitnessPal for accountability. Great apps and both free!
